1. I had a closer look on your Flickr account. I recognized that you started shooting analog in 2010. Before, you took a lot of photos with your iPhone or with a digital Canon DSLR. As a lot of people nowadays you tried to simulate the analog look with your iPhone. Why did you started shooting with a real film camera?

Actually I started taking analog picture with the “Nikon FE”, exactly 20 years ago, it was my father’s camera! Later I moved to the digital world. Only recently, thanks to two discoveries in particular, I found again the analogic process as the way to express myself and enjoying it too. On one hand: the clarity and elegance of Jan Scholz portraits is still one of my favorites at the present time. He creates a black and white picture just unachievable with the cold digital rendering. On the other hand: the whole community of Lomography, and the idea that so many people are still tied to this vehicle. I thought it had been overtaken for ten years at least! Within a few weeks a new world has opened to me: different types of films, developments, cameras… but it has been an easy choice, I found myself with a “Hasselblad” and a black & white films development kit ready to use.
